FOR SALE ☞ 400 Year Centennial Bookmark to Commemorate Christopher Columbus' landing in America

DESCRIPTION ☞ This antique bookmark was made in 1892 to commemorate the 400 year anniversary of Columbus landing in America. With a red, white and blue motif, surrounding a picture of Columbus and his crew, the bookmark reads:

"1492 - 1892 400th Anniversary In commemoration of the discovery of America 1492. Landing of Columbus Oct. 12, 1492."

Under that is the American Eagle and the Stars and Stripes in vivid gold, red and blue.

"And the Star Spangled Banner, O long may it wave, Oer the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave."

On the reverse side, above the stitching at the top reads "J.J. MANNION CHICAGO, ILLS"

DIMENSIONS ☞ Approx 6.5" in length by 2.5" in width

CONDITION ☞ Excellent condition for it's age. Bright, vivid colors. Small wrinkle in bottom near fringe. Please see photos. Color may differ slightly in real life from how it appears on your screen due to varying monitor settings.
