DESCRIPTION ☞ This stunning antique oil lamp features the Early Moon and Star pattern, first introduced in 1858 and produced by multiple glassmakers throughout the 19th century. The clear pressed glass font showcases its stunning moon and star motifs, a timeless design cherished by collectors and antique lighting enthusiasts.

The lamp stands on an ornate cast metal base with a fluted brass column, embodying the elegance of the Victorian era. The brass burner includes a functional wick adjuster, and the lamp is crowned with a classic milk glass shade with a crimped edge, which softly diffuses light for a warm, vintage glow. A clear glass chimney completes its authentic historical aesthetic.

This Early Moon and Star oil lamp is a perfect statement piece for period home décor, farmhouse settings, or antique lighting collections.

CONDITION ☞ This lamp is in fantastic antique condition, with no cracks or chips in the glass font. The metal base and brass column have a beautiful aged patina that enhances its historical charm, very small wear on base due to age and prior use. The burner and wick adjuster appear functional but are untested with oil. The ruffled milk glass shade is free of major flaws, making this a truly collectible piece. Please see photos.
