DESCRIPTION ☞ This rare and captivating Lights Fantastic Lucite sculpture lamp, model 5402, was produced in the 1970s. Designed as a hand-formed Lucite sculpture, this piece creates a mesmerizing light display when illuminated from its wood and plastic base. Distributed in Canada by Lava-Simplex Can (Ltd.), this piece is a perfect example of space-age, modernist, and retro lighting design.

The flowing, abstract shape of the clear Lucite structure makes it a statement piece for any mid-century, postmodern, or vintage-inspired space. When turned on, the 7-watt bulb within the base provides a soft, warm glow that highlights the organic lines of the Lucite sculpture. Lightbulb could easily be changed to another color.

Not so much a lamp, as is it a light-up sculpture -- a striking 1970s modernist lighting piece. Perfect for collectors of unique vintage lighting or those looking to add a 1970s flair to their decor.

Excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. Original felt bottom and labels intact. Tested and fully functional with original wiring. Please see photos.
