DESCRIPTION ☞This vintage Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) ring is a rare and meaningful piece of Canadian military history. Crafted in sterling silver by Birks, one of Canada’s most prestigious jewelers, the ring features a striking enameled insignia of the RCAF: a bird in flight beneath a red crown, encircled by a rich blue background. Inside the band is clearly stamped "Birks Ellis Sterling," and engraved with the RCAF motto "Per Ardua Ad Astra"—Latin for "Through Adversity to the Stars."

This ring was likely produced during or shortly after World War II, when such items were popular among servicemen and their families. The quality craftsmanship and patriotic design make it a prized collectible for military historians, aviation enthusiasts, and lovers of vintage Canadian memorabilia.

DIMENSIONS ☞ Approximately 18mm inner diameter (US size 8, UK size P 1/2, EU size 57)

CONDITION ☞ Good vintage condition with visible patina and wear consistent with age. The enamel shows minor chipping, and the silver has oxidation that adds to its antique character.
