DESCRIPTION ☞ This elegant antique ruby flash glass decanter dates to the early 20th century and is a beautiful example of blown and hand-decorated glassware. The decanter features a vibrant ruby red overlay on clear frosted glass, expertly cut back to reveal a floral and grapevine motif all around the rounded body. Delicate hand-painted gilt accents outline the floral details and rim, adding a luxurious touch that catches the light beautifully.

Its matching ruby flash stopper has a ground glass end for a secure fit, and it retains its original form and finish. The hand decoration is sharp and vivid, showing no signs of fading, and the delicate curves of the bottle paired with the tall, tapered stopper make it a truly eye-catching piece.

Ideal for collectors of early 1900s glass, barware, or decorative Victorian/Edwardian pieces. This decanter also makes a striking display piece in a curio cabinet, vintage bar, or on a mantel.

CONDITION ☞ Excellent condition. The glass is free of chips or cracks. The ground glass stopper fits snugly and is in very good condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use. The ruby flash is vivid with only a few very light scuffs under close inspection. The hand-painted gold detailing remains largely intact, with some very gentle fading visible, appropriate for its age. The base shows a sanded pontil mark, confirming it is hand-blown. A beautifully preserved example of early 20th century glass craftsmanship.
